“FAMILY TIES” is a three man group of independent rap artist / producers. The group members consist of a father (Imperator), son (Creepy Fingers), and a nephew (Goldie). They represent the past, the present, and the future of hip hop in regards to the music they make, their production techniques, and stage show.
We represent the past, the present and the future of hip hop. Our new album "Family Ties" has influences from Jay Z, Three Six Mafia, Lil John, Big Daddy Kane, M.O.P, Tupac, Nas, and Ice Cube!" - Imperator
Almost any song on "Family Ties" could be the single! The production is unique and has a sound of its own. It's a throwback to when producers like Marley Marl, Dr. Dre, and DJ Premiere produced only for their crew. - Creepy Fingers
REVIEWS
“FAMILY TIES is a diverse album you don't get bored with it or have to skip tracks.”Tear It Up" is perfect for the club, play it after "The Whisper Song” - Tommy Daugherty (Makaveli Engineer)
“FAMILY TIES has a diverse style that is influenced by east coast, west coast, dirty south, and everything in between. However the 17 song album has a definite street feel. Imperator and Goldie seamlessly blend old and new school lyrical styles with vivid metaphors and first-rate rhymes. Album highlights include the club starter, “Get Ready,” “Poison Ya Brain,” which is about the reality of drug abuse, “Gets It,” which has fast, spit-fire lyrics over a sample of “When Johnny Comes Marching Home”, and the love songs, “Ya Woman” and “Smile”. – Mary Lemanski (Painted Girl Records)
